About
I’m an engineering leader who builds data platforms, developer tooling, and reliable distributed backends. I prefer clarity over cleverness, long-term impact over short wins, and shipping work that scales from one team to many. My sweet spot is turning fuzzy product questions into pragmatic, well-instrumented systems that survive real traffic and real people.
Most recently
Engineering Manager, Moveworks (Jun 2024 – Oct 2025)
Led teams building customer-facing analytics and data products for an AI assistant platform, focused on platformizing analytics, building scalable data backends, and driving measurable product outcomes.
Previously
Engineering Manager, LinkedIn (Feb 2022 – Nov 2023)
Consolidated diverse data sources into a near-real-time data platform, improved sales insights latency from days to hours, ran org-level knowledge sharing, and sponsored internal hackathons that turned into funded POCs.
Engineering Manager, Postman (Jul 2019 – Feb 2022)
Led the web launch of Postman (the company’s largest release at the time) and drove the roadmap to extend beyond HTTP, enabling new platform capabilities and developer growth.
Software Developer, Booking.com (Jan 2017 – Jul 2019)
Built identity and SSO systems handling large-scale auth traffic, set SLOs, and improved service stability. Earlier roles were in scalable data and crawling systems at Qyuki and Serendio.
Selected projects
Some small projects and experiments from my GitHub:
- TwitterSentiment — tweet sentiment analysis pipelines and tooling (Python).
- Speechify — speech-to-text helpers for richer accessibility support.
- mDataRecovery — a compact backup/restore utility.
- dotfiles and the repo for my personal site.
More repos and experiments live on my GitHub.
How I work
- Clarity first: clear contracts, clear ownership, clear metrics.
- Platform leverage: build one capability that saves hundreds of developer hours.
- Measured outcomes: latency, error rates, adoption, and maintenance cost.
- End-to-end ownership: coach engineers to own outcomes, not just code.
What I care about
Reliable systems, readable code, strong primitives (good APIs, observability, SLOs), and product sensibility in infrastructure work. I like work that’s strategic yet executable — problems that reward patience and craftsmanship.
