About

I’m Mohit. I live in Bangalore, where I’ve spent most of my adult life and made most of my friends.

I build software and think about systems. Professionally, that has meant distributed systems, data platforms, developer tools, and engineering leadership. These days, I’m building things under Norvia Labs, including Forge, a terminal-based AI coding environment.

My interests tend to escape the job description. Philosophy, religion, psychology, economics, politics. Why people believe what they believe. How we make decisions. What makes a life worth living.

Also chess, sitcoms, movies, music, and sports. Thinking deeply needs occasional supervision.

I prefer small goals over a grand plan. Something worth doing over the next three to six months, while remembering to live through those months.

A few things I believe: money is overrated, belief in something bigger than yourself matters, and everyone is struggling.

This site is where I write about what interests me and share what I build. Some of it will be technical. Some of it will be about failure, relationships, or finding fulfilment. The tone will depend on the subject. There will probably be sarcasm.
